Client Conference Recap

This year, ECCG hosted our first annual client conference, and we are excited to share a recap of this special event. From the beginning, we have recognized how important it is for our clients to have a space to gather, talk, connect, and share ideas and insights about their lives. While our Connections events offer many opportunities for meaningful interaction, we knew we could go deeper.

Equipping clients with the tools, knowledge, and language needed to advocate for themselves — and to grow their independence — is something we have always done one‑on‑one. Hosting a conference gave us the chance to bring that experience into a group setting. Seeing this opportunity to enrich our clients’ lives, we began planning our first annual ECCG Client Conference.

After consulting with staff and clients, we curated three core topics for the event: Positive Psychology, Breath Work, and Goal Visualization. These topics were chosen because they are broad enough for all attendees to engage with, yet rich enough to support deeper conversations than our typical events allow. To encourage meaningful discussion, we created breakout groups led by staff facilitators.

We were blown away by the level of engagement and the incredible conversations happening throughout the breakout sessions. Clients discussed how the language of Positive Psychology can help them advocate for themselves. We saw remarkable participation in the Breath Work seminar. And during the Goal Visualization breakout, we witnessed so many thoughtful, creative goals being developed. Watching attendees connect with one another on such a deep level cemented this conference as a yearly event moving forward.

This conference was a true reflection of our mission: building our clients’ independence while fostering a strong, supportive community. Bringing so many clients together in such a meaningful way was inspiring. We are proud to serve such incredible individuals — their growth, perseverance, intuition, experience, and thoughtfulness were on full display. We cannot wait to see what next year’s conference brings.
